11+ Preparation
Tuition Academy Medway provides 11 Plus preparation at our centre in Medway for English, Maths, Verbal, Non-Verbal and Spatial Reasoning.
11+ classes at Tuition Academy Medway
Students attend weekly 2-hour lessons taught in small ability-based groups by a specialist teacher and an experienced teaching assistant to ensure that each child receives ample one-to-one support and attention. Students enjoy learning and cope well with our personalised, attentive, structured approach.
Weekly classes – 50 weeks a year, with 33 dedicated to learning and 17 to revision and practice.
Booster lessons – these are run in addition to weekly classes and are designed to get students up to speed in difficult areas, such as creative writing or verbal reasoning.
Revision courses – we run intensive summer revision courses designed to reinforce challenging topics.
Mock exams – to ensure our students are well prepared and confident when sitting their examinations.
When to start?
We advise that students start 11 Plus preparation in Years 4 and 5 to improve their existing levels.
Although many students will start their preparations in year five and still pass, some may need more time to pass.
Pass rate statistics clearly show that students with good attendance in our foundation year four  11+ course and then our higher level year five 11+ course will see 90% plus pass rates.
