Seven Things You Need To Know About The Medway Test

The Medway 11+ test has three fifty-minute exams.
Two multiple choice papers ( mathematics and verbal reasoning) plus an extended writing exam.
Students who pass can then select from the six Medway grammar schools available.
Parents should check each school’s admission policy as part of their selection process.
For boys there is Holcombe Grammar and Sir Joseph Williamson’s Mathematical School.
Girls schools are Fort Pitt, Chatham Grammar, and The Rochester Grammar School.
Rainham Mark is currently the only mixed grammar school in Medway.
