• The Kent test is different to the Medway test.
• Students need to pass all three exam papers to achieve a Kent test pass.
• The Kent test includes non-verbal and spatial reasoning which is not in the Medway test.
• In the Kent test there is no formal written exam paper ( just a short piece of writing which is only used for appeals or borderline results)

• Kent test passes allow students to select a Kent grammar school to attend for year seven. (Holcombe Grammar is the only Medway school who historically have also taken Kent test passes)
